Today was the final practice before Conference Finals for Golf my Freshman year. I was told I was golfing in Conference's because one guy got hurt. Well he got better and the coach took me out of this tournament that we get free meals for and get out of school for a whole day. I was made and I went on the putting green and finally lost it and hit a ball really hard. Well there was a 1.5 inch divot in the putting green that I made a nd a 5 inch divot behind me in a spot I never even stood on. I actually made a remark about the size of this divot but apparently I made it. Nobody saw it but they claim I did it. Also there was a noise that was made from the shed across the way and they say that I hit it with a golf club even though I was 100 yards away and had only my putter. Now I'm suspended from school, banned from that golf course and not allowed to play Golf at that school the rest of my High School Career. WTF
overreaction on schools part. have your parents talk to athletic director if your school has one. if not counsellor , or principal. if this fails your parents do have the right to go to the school board. ni am old guy. when younger . i could not hit a putter 100 yards. there is no evidence you are at fault. you are not guilty of anything. you were prepared for a golf tourney. the fault is at the coaches feet. removing you was the wrong decision. you were on the team. you were registered to play. once registered no substitutions. period. it is 100 percent the coaches fault. your team disqualified for using ineligible player. take this to your school. as far as your coach, he is trying to argue with a old guy who holds canadian coaching level 2 certificate. this supersedes his degree. i can coach at any level in the world. at this moment. no person in your school district can. your place was on the golf course. not the putting green. your team D Q . those are the high school rules. you did not make them. your coach broke them. not you. you were responsible. the coach irresponsible. you broke no rules. your school did. you should and cannot be punished for your coaches mistake. the coach suspended for having team D Q . classic case of uneducated people using abuse of power to cover their own error. it is sad when a young person is abused by incompetent unqualified people. total balderdash.
